“The ticketing agent left his office for the day feeling a little bit depressed. Though his day was packed full of successful transactions to the point of having to close early, there was something bothering him. Though his wallet was full, there was something lacking in his heart, something, he thought, that would bothering for the rest of his career: how many people did I take advantage of today?” If only ticketing agents had such a conscience! Their ticketing sales are going through the roof, prices are skyrocketing as a result of “the economic depression,” and yet their pockets always seem to be getting bigger and bigger after each and every live performance. The truth is, even though their signs suggest that their business is experiencing the affects of the global economic crisis, the entertainment industry has yet to be fully impacted by this rapid change. Their tickets are worth far less than what they are offering, and their price tags have yet to truly be impacted by the economic domino affect that will, eventually, come their way. For this reason and this reason alone, ticketing agents, even a few of the online ticketing forums, are making all of their money now so that they can take their vacations; enjoy their lives, and all at the expense of others. If only every ticketing agent went home with a heavy conscience! The reason that I mentioned the aforementioned work of fiction was due to the upcoming Paramore string of live performances. These Pop Rock artists are one of my favorites, but I absolutely hate how much Paramore Tickets costs these days! Their prices are nowhere near the amount that I, at least, believe that they are worth! Price tags are rising on almost every single commodity currently floating around on the market. If one commodity is effected, then they all are effected… this I understand, but not when these tickets can be printed off in office and do not require any middle man whatsoever for their distribution! This is a complete outrage! Of course, I still desire to purchase Paramore Tickets and see them live, but I simply refuse to purchase them at the counter, where I know I will be taken advantage of. Having said that, my desire to see Paramore motivated me to start a little research on the internet, and what I found shocked me into next week! I found many websites that were offering Paramore Tickets at a much cheaper price! Some of these tickets were on online forums where customers were “gifted” Paramore Tickets and didn’t like that band enough to go (didn’t like the band, pphhh), posting them in hopes of selling them. Then I found websites for actual ticketing offices, and their prices seemed a bit lower than that of their counterparts at the counters. Long story short, the internet quickly became my friend and Paramore Tickets were soon within my possession!
